Get GPS location in Mobile using a Background Process

in Oracle Application Express (MOSC) Question

Hi,

I have an Oracle Apex Application that is installed on my mobile, is it applicable to have a background process that get the GPS location and store the data in a table although if the application is currently not online and the user not open the application, I need this to track a salesman trip.
