Unable to fetch records in Service Request on Siebel Application

Hi Everyone,

I am facing an issue where i have updated the status of a service request from Open to Closed from data base. However, if i query in siebel application with the id of the SR i updated and status as Open then it is retrieving the record with status as Closed. The record should not be returned as i am querying with status as open. Has anyone faced the issue before? Please assist!!
