How to remove inactive/terminated employees from Leave/Comp Time Fluid page?

We recently turned on the fluid Leave/Comp Time page for ESS and MSS. When filtering on a TL Group ID, it includes people who have been retired and terminated. Is there a configurable way to remove this population from the search or do we need to make customizations?

We are using PeopleSoft HCM 9.2, PeopleTools 8.60.
