Recreate buyer after changing e-mail address?

Hi,

We use the HRMS module to manage people so that's where an e-mail address is entered.
Also job assignment is done here so users can be added as a buyer in the PO module.

In the user account, the person field is linked to the HRMS user and then it picks up that e-mail address.

After we changed the e-mail address of several users in the HRMS module (who are buyers in PO) we cannot send PO's anymore by e-mail and we get this error in the log:

ORA-29279: SMTP permanent error: 553 5.1.8 <user@customer.com>... Domain of sender address buyer@company.com does not exist
