Scanner Recommendations

I couldn't find the warehouse management community to post this question, so I am posting it here.

This is more for a question rather than issue.
We are in the look for scanner that can scan both barcode and QR code and connect to a laptop or tablet at the same time that will work and be able to be supported by oracle EBS.
The old model we have is Intermec Technologies Corporation model SF51. However, these can only scan barcode.
We have tried Tera scanner model 8100. It works to scan both barcode and QR code; however, the laser light is so thick that when scan the barcode, it scans other code as well.
