Fluid Position Management- Manage Position

We currently have the classic add update position info on several workcenters for end users.

In attempting to add the new fluid manage positions to a workcenter via enterprise components , configure pagelets, links tab we are unable to do so. You are able to select the menu item and hit activate links but it never actually populates on the workcenter.

Has anyone else experienced this behavior?
