ODA 19.22 and sftp/ssh errors. Can we safely update it to a newer version?

It looks like the version of openssh-server on ODA 19.22 (openssh-server-8.0p1-19.el8_9.2.x86_64) has problems. We are getting this error when trying to connect to another server via ssh or sftp: 

Corrupted MAC on input.

ssh_dispatch_run_fatal: Connection to XX.XX.XXX.XXX port 22: message authentication code incorrect

According to this link Oracle has fixed this in an update:
