Is there a way to set the system to restrict employees from entering supplemental life employee and spouse benefit amounts that are not in $10,000 increments?
Currently, our Benefits team is manually reviewing a list of over 500 employees who have chosen supplemental life benefits that aren't in these increments. This process requires our team to send emails to all affected employees, informing them that we are lowering their election amount to the nearest $10,000 increment. The team must also manually adjust each employee's election amount and calculate any applicable refunds because these adjustments impact premium rates. Additionally, the team has to manually adjust supplemental life employee/spouse election amounts as employees turn 70 years old. This is a highly time-consuming manual task for our Benefits team.
