There is an issue with configuring the solarisstdio repository on Solaris 11.4 x86 environment.

downloading certificates from http://pkg-register.oracle.com I ran the pkg set-publisher command following the standard procedure The command was

pkg set-publisher -k ~/pkg.oracle.com.key.pem -c ~/pkg.oracle.com.certificate.pem -G "*" -g https://pkg.oracle.com/solarisstudio/support solarisstudio

I received this error:

Encountered the following error(s):
Transport errors encountered when trying to contact repository.
Reported the following errors:
Framework error: code: E_SSL_CACERT (60) reason: SSL certificate problem: certificate has expired
URL: 'https://pkg.oracle.com/solarisstudio/support'

I tried to find a solution by looking up an Oracle SR regarding the error, and even after attempting the suggested solutions such as If you have a large time discrepancy and symbolic links, the symptoms remain the same.

Howdy, Stranger!
