R42500 not impacting the cardex

Hello

Im trying to find what Im missing in our setup for sales orders that are coming from an external system and when i run R42500 the orders are being ship confirmed but only appearing on the cardex once I have run R42800 Sales Update.

Ideally I would like the P4111 cardex to be impacted as soon as the R42500 is run. What am I missing in my setup to make this work.
