Visual studio code extension for emcli jython/python coding providing autocomplete and linting

I was just wondering, is there a project in development for creating an emcli extension for Visual Studio Code for autocomplete or linting. Or are there any hints/tips on how to use emcli scripting through Visual Studio Code ?

I know there are extensions for python, but it does know of all the emcli imports and commands, so you end up with lots of errors.
