Attention: To align with new corporate security policies, and to match policies adopted by other communities within Oracle, the My Oracle Support Community access requirements will change beginning September 18, 2025. We have an OEL 7.4 VM on a ODA Virtualized Platform, and the root password for that VM has become lost.

Note: We tried ODA: How to Change or Set Root Password in an ODA VM Guest (Doc ID 2149196.1) with no luck.

Are there any other ways to reset the password.
