Hello, I have some contracts that needs rent increase.

I am trying the create the index date.

Can someone please explain about it?

I have 2 scenarios: the first one is that the contract begins in 1/1/2022 , fixed rent increase of 10% every 5 years, and the duration is 10 years.

The second scenario is that the contract begins in 20/4/2022, fixed rent increase of 40% every 5 years, and the duration is 8 years.

What should the index date be?
