Will there be any impact on the platform if we increase the self-tuning max thread count?
We're encountering performance issues with certain OSB services, and through extensive performance testing, we've discovered that creating a work manager and increasing the self-tuning max thread count yields improved performance. However, we're not sure if increasing the self-tuning max thread count could potentially have adverse effects on the platform. Can anyone provide insight on whether will it have negative implications for the platform?
FYI
self tunning max thread count = 2000
platform configuration:-
OSB Admin Server- 4 CPU, 32GB RAM -> Heap size 5 GB
OSB Managed Server1- 12 CPU, 192GB RAM -> Heap size 15g GB
