RAC 19 on Vmware

Hi all,

we need to install 2 node RAC 19 on vmware.
We did read a lot of infos (here in forums, on Oracle support site and on the web) and we reached this conclusions:

  1. RAC on vmware is not certified (not present in )
  2. from note "Support Position for Oracle Products Running on VMware Virtualized Environments(Doc ID 249212.1)" we can understand that IF guest OS in the vmware VM is certified for running Oracle product (rdbms or RAC) then we can ask support if we need it. This does not means that oracle on vmware IS certified!!
  3. We can find papers on how to install RAC on vmware for 11R2 version, really far from 19. Still this does not means that oracle on vmware IS certified!
