FLSA Calculation for Prior Period not working after FLSA configuration
Hi,
I have setup FLSA config for all companies/paygroups and earning codes in my system and FLSA is being calculated correctly with non-discretionary bonus.
The issue I am encountering is when i 'look back' and pay the bonus for a prior period when FLSA wasn't setup, the FLSA is not calculating. How do I handle prior period payments after we apply FLSA config setup in Production?
Example:
Employee on bi-weekly payroll January 2024 through March 2024 (during this period no FLSA config was in place and overtime was strictly 1.5 multiplicity)
FLSA config setup was applied effective April 2024. A non-discretionary earnings was paid on the April paycheck for prior period say March 16-30. The pay-calc did not calculate FLSA. I think this is because on the March paycheck where the config was not there, the overtime was not calculated using the FLSA Rate. If this is the case, how do I handle this scenario in Production for employees that get paid the bonus with a look back prior period?
