Need to set DEV db name using NID.

Hi all,

As part an activity i need to restore the DEV db from PROD db network backup.

I have followed below steps:

1.DEV db pfile "db_name" paramater changed to PROD.

2. startup nomount with pfile.

3.control file of prod restored from network backup.

4. alter database mount.

5.full backup restored.

6. tried to change the db name to DEV but getting below error.

nid target=sys/password DBNAME=DEV

 DBNEWID: Release 19.0.0.0.0 - Production on Wed May 22 17:05:50 2024

 Connected to database PROD (DBID=2424116080)

 NID-00131: Control file is not current

 Change of database name failed during validation - database is intact.
