ESSSVR.EXE went missing

Hello All,

I had a server patching last Saturday and immediately after the patching I had the application dense restructure process scheduled. The process failed with error

ERROR - 1056603 - Unable to spawn process for application [app]. Please ensure that adequate memory is available.

It was identified that the services were not started gracefully and hence the restructure failed.

Upon further investigation it was found that the ESSSVR.exe process file was missing from the directory D:\Oracle\Middleware\EPMSystem11R1\products\Essbase\EssbaseServer\bin

Has anyone ever experienced this issue. Is there a process to remove/delete orphaned ESSSVR.exe process ?
