In Enrollment with Eligibility, why is the plan not following the 6MO eligibility rule for a rehIre?
An employee was originally hired in 12/02/2019, after six months from the employees' Date Started (06/02/2020), the employee became Active in a retirement plan based on the six month eligibility rule set forth. This employee was terminated on 10/31/2021.
This same employee was rehired recently, on 05/23/2024. In Enrollment with Eligibility(P08334), it is immediately enrolling the employee in said retirement plan, instead of a PEN status it shows an ACT status with Date Eligible of 05/23/24 when Effective Date is 05/23/24. It is ignoring the 6 month eligibility rule, Date Eligible should be 11/23/24.
In Enrollment Overrides/Past Enrollment, the employee has two records for this plan.
