Does ECC adhere to Custom responsibilities and menus

Hi,

I have configured ECC and assigned user access based on the steps mentioned in Doc id: 2495053.1 for standard Super User responsibilities and custom responsibilities. However I have noticed that the user with the custom responsibility who doesn't have access to Period related menus in EBS can see the Period tab in ECC Payables/Receivables.

This user shouldn't be able to see Period tab in ECC since the user doesn't have Period menu access in EBS

Does ECC adhere to custom EBS menu accesses and restrictions?
