Workflow Delegation

When Purchasing requisitions that are approved by everyone in the supervisor chain and there is a delegation up to a supervisor, then the person delegated to ends up approve twice, once for the delegated approval and once for themselves.
Example A supervises B and B supervises C. If B is out and delegates to A, when C submits a requisition the workflow goes to A for B’s delegation, When A approves for B’s delegation it then comes back to A for A’s approval. Is there a way to make it so A only approves once for both B’s delegation and A’s approval.
