Having issue in P4210 warning message "Order quantity exceeds what's availble"

in Distribution - JDE1 (MOSC) 1 commentAnswered

I have enable the processing option in P4210 for Activate Availability Checking to 2. But I am not getting the warning message. Could you please let me know the reason for this.

Apart from this when when I am enabling the inventory commitment processing option then only JDE is giving the warning message "Order quantity exceeds what's available".

I don't think inventory commitment setups is mandatory to enable to get this warning message.
