Does the Planning Fence Rule of an item have impact on the supply and demand?

The planning fence (rule) is used in MRP, to determine the demand of either sales orders and/or forecast.

What we see is that Planning Fence Rule S Customer Demand, also has an impact on how Supply and Demand is showing availability.

S - Customer Demand with planning fence 1 ⇒ only sales orders within 1 day are reducing.

Is this normal behaviour?
