Importing OVA from OVM to OLVM fails with output file is smaller than input file

I am attempting to import an OVA VM (Linux and Windows) from our current Oracle VM environment to a new virtualization platform running Oracle Linux Virtualization.

I have attempted to import two VMs, one running Oracle Linux 8.10 and the other Windows Server 2019.

In both cases the import process fails with the same error : (0.00/100%) qemu-img: output file is smaller than input file.

According to the official documentation Doc ID 2628260.1, the issue has been resolved in OVS 3.4.6. However, our current OVM environment is at 3.4.6, see details below
