Oracle Linux KVM host and guest cannot ping each other

Hello

I have an x9-2L where I have installed Oracle Linux 8.9 and enabled virtualization. I went on to create a guest vm. I am facing a challenge that the guest can't ping the host and vice versa.

I created a bridge br0 using cockpit and assigned it as my network interface for the guest (Bridge to LAN). The bridge br0 uses a dedicated Ethernet port.

I can ping the bridge br0 from the host side, and not the guest. The guest can not ping the bridge br0, even though they are in the same subnet.

May please assist.
