Has lot processing changed in UN8 / 9.2.8 to force backorder by location

We've upgraded from JDE 9.2.4 to UN8 and noticed when placing an order for a lot controlled item, if there is quantity available in multiple locations, but not the primary location, SO Entry backorders the quantity.

In 9.2.4 it did not backorder the quantity if there was additional quantity available in other locations. I have not found any processing option or data differences between our old & new version.

The lot process type is 3 Lots must be assigned manually. Serial number is not required.
