Looking for steps on how to disable a phy-interface

Acme Packet 3900 ver. 8.4

I'm trying to turn off (disable) a physical interface on one of our SBCs… the (standby one). The interface does not have anything connected so it's showing up as "down" and the "show health" is 81%, so I want to disable that interface.
