Manufacturing Effective Date & Purchasing Effective Date Fields

We are doing a deep dive on the lot calculation fields and noticed this option. We wanted to make sure we understood how it worked. We have been using some workarounds in the router and branch plant relationships to manage some of our challenges with tested products, but wanted to see options.

Some key assumptions:

∙ Both fields use calendar days for the calculation, not Shop Floor Calendar

∙ When a lot is created through a PO receipt or a WO Completion, these are added to whatever date is in the Lot Expiration Date Method field (on hand, based on, least active ingredient) to calculate the Lot Effectivity Date
