Does OSB 12.2.1.4 REST adapter support application/text or plain/text media type?

I am trying to call a REST service with POST method. It received XML/JSON but sends plain/text in response. I am not able to capture this. I have tried both REST and HTTP adapters. I don't see any 'text' option available. Is is supported in this version?
