Encrypting maxl user/password in Essbase 21c/EPM 11.2.17

like in EPM 11.2.14/Essbase 11 I tried to encrypt .maxl scripts to maxls. Using the maxl client download from the Essbase console I can generate the priv/publ. keys with "essmsh -gk", I can also start the command "essmsh -E test.maxl public_key" and it generates an test.maxls file, but the file is always empty and has 0 KB. I never had this behaviour in Essbase 11C/EPM 11.2.14 and bevore.
