Outdated Java binaries in recent Oracle software distributions

Hi,
In one of the most recent versions of RDBMS OPatch (12.2.0.1.39) and Oracle Enterprise Manager agent (13.5.0.0.0) I've found much more outdated Java versions (1.8.0_181-b13 and 1.8.0_261-b12). This results in a red alert from out monitoring tool which means we should address this. My question is if this is normal behaviour and can we safely remove these old Java binaries and redirect them to the latest version? Does anyone have experience with this possibility and what is best practise?
