How to transfer asset automatically from Inventory to Asset
We have scenario where the client wants to store the laptops as inventory when bought and then issue to the employees in future may be after 2 years as and when required. While issuing the same, client wants to transfer the same from inventory to the fixed assets.
Do we have any standard feature to transfer from inventory to asset?
If no, can there be some workaround? We need to consider the below points also:
- The cost should be original buy cost while transferring from inventory to asset.
- There should not be any open clearing account balance.
