How to handle JDE SO dates when we have transportation enabled

Hello All

We have a scenario wherein we have a 3rd party planning engine which performs order promising function. We are building an integration to send SO data along with a host of planning related info. The 3rd party system sends promised order back to JDE. They send the scheduled pick date and promised delivery date.

There could be 2 scenarios

a). When the dates on all order lines are same

b). When certain lines on an order could have different promised delivery date.

We are looking at performing this integration through orchestrator.

For the first case when the integration comes in, we can change the promised delivery date in Work With Shipment application and when we perform the routing the rest of the dates will get aligned in sales order detail.
