EBS 12.2 Editions and SOX

I'm raising this question in the hope that one of you here could provide some insight from your own experience.

As part of SOX inspection, we need to provide which packages were modified during the last six months.
This request was easy when we worked on the EBS 12.1 but became an issue after upgrading to the EBS 12.2 due to the Edition feature being mandatory.
The problem is: After applying patches, the "creation" and "last ddl date" of code base objects (packages, procedures) seem to be reset to the latest edition, even if the object was not modified.

My question is, is there away to fetch the "real" creation and "last ddl date" of a package even if it is in Edition and we have done few rounds of patching (adop cycle of prepare through cleanup) ?
