Attention: To align with new corporate security policies, and to match policies adopted by other communities within Oracle, the My Oracle Support Community access requirements will change beginning September 18, 2025. What is the use of MPN in transactional entities like Purchase Req., PO, SO and other transactional entities?

If we define MPN in Item cross reference field but not on the standard MPN screen, will it have any impact?
