Can we create a tax code with partial recoverability and offset as well?

Dear All,

I have got requirement from business users to create a new tax code with 40% Recoverable and 60% Non Recoverable, It should also has to be offset.

I have created and tested in the VAT Reports tax calculations are not working as expected. when I removed offset tax calculations are working as expected.

I want to understand here weather the requirement is correct or not?

Can tax code created with 40% Recoverable and 60% Non Recoverable, and also with offset?

Please help me in understanding this.
