How to bring an export button or search option inside the subtab of a standard object?

Is it possible to bring an export button or search option inside the subtab of a standard object? We have Partner object in use for our project. There are many Parent Partners and they have hundreds of child Partners under them. We can go to the relationship subtab to see the Partner hierarchy in tabular view. Can we include an 'Export' button in the Subtab page to enable an Excel export of the records we have in this page, just as we have an export button in the landing page of the objects?
