How can we make the table view of the relationship subtab of a standard object default

We have Partner object used in our project. Each Parent Partner has many child partners under it. It has a relationship subtab. When we are trying to access the relationship subtab we can see the chart/hierarchy view as default. Even if we change the view to table view, after checking each record we have to change the tabular view every time. Is there a workaround to make the table view of the subtab default?
