Serial Number issue

we have serial number 1234 which we have received against PO Receipt and assign to an Item XYZ.

further we did follwoing transaction (org- U1 )

1—> wip issue with same serial 1234

2—> wip return with same serial 1234

3—> account alias issue with same serial 1234

now when we try to received this though MISC RECEIPT (in U1 Org.) its giving an error as

''serial number already exist. serial state is resides in stores .. disallows transaction.''

as current status of the serial number is —-issue out of store. (in U1 Org.)

Also serial number uniqueness withing inventory items.

We have same serial in another org W1 with current status is 3.
