Problems connecting smartview to Essbase 21 (EPM 11.2.17 Installation)

When trying to connect to the essbase server using smartview (in my case I used the shared connection url "http://srv197moros.test.oepag.at:19000/workspace/SmartViewProviders" first I can do connect to Datasource with my user and pw, then I can select the server in the shared connections windows, after that a blue/white window opens and I do a login a second time with user and password.
After that, when I try to browse the Essbase Applications/databases I get an error - please see screenshot. I found one article (Doc ID 3018008.1) that says that Essbase should not be started using Windows service - it should be started using the script: so I stopped the service, started with "startessbase.bat", but the error does not vanish.
