Set up and Use of Category Accounts for R12.2

Hi All -

Has anyone had success in setting up and using Category Accounts in R12.2? I have been looking at all notes in Knowledge Base and the discussions in the Communities and it looks like everyone is asking same questions on how to set this up.

Does anyone have any white paper or documentation on how to set this up for R12.2 and what the expected results would be once the set up is completed?
