Make specific standard attribute pages View only/Editable for a specific role/person

Business requirement:

For one set of users, we would like

  1. Hide Classification and Categories Pages
  2. Have Physical Attribute Pages – View only Page
  3. Have Purchase attribute Page- Editable

 

 

 

 

 

Analysis:

Setup>Workbench> Security - We have assigned a role (that excludes Edit items privilege, Item organization assignments,Change item status) and its view only on all pages.

We could not selectively make each of the attribute pages as view only or Edit only.

Question:

How to make selective standard certain attribute pages view only /editable for a specific user- Via standard options without personalization or Customization?
