How to test Vertex Update June 2024 for PA Dependent Care

Hi Community,

Does anyone have guidance on how to setup and/or test this June 2024 Vertex update for the State of Pennsylvania?

Vertex: Changed the taxability of Dependent Care (Deduction ID# – 14 and Deduction ID# – 15) from taxable to exempt for regular and supplemental wages for the following tax types:

  • State Withholding Tax ID 450
  • City Withholding Tax ID 530
  • Local Service Tax ID 536
  • School District Tax ID 537
  • City Employer Tax ID 531

We are unclear if this is a configuration setup in E1 or not.
