How do I implement the critical patches and updates? Can I do this?

I am new to updates for my software and want to be in compliance for critical patches etc. I am not sure if I am a Customer User Admin (CUA) as I purchased my license from a third party. However, I installed and implemented my software alone.

I am running the latest version of stand alone Primavera P6 Professional
