Looking to exclude certain items from ATO (AXML) file

We currently use ATO files to pass change activity between Agile and our ERP. The integration consumes everything generated in the AXML file. Now the business wants to exclude certain reference / documentation items from passing to ERP.

Is there a way via configuration to exclude certain items from an ATO while still keeping them on the BOM and Change Order?
