Tools Upgrade 9.2.8.x

Hi,

We are currently on App version 9.2 Update 5 and Tools 9.2.5.1 32bit. We are planning to get upgraded to 64bit and also with that upgrade tools to 9.2.8.x(the latest one).

My query is- do we have to install UN8(release 24) to be on tools 9.2.8.x or we can be at where we are currently as far as application version goes and get the tools upgrade done??
