JAS_MSG317 error on Supplier/Price Item Revisions P41061

I have a scenario where one of my users update several thousand supplier prices for specified Effective From and Thru dates using Supplier/Price Item Revisions (P41061) import grid functionality.

The update was successful, however, the user did not include the correct unit prices. Now if she tries to re-import the date with the correct unit price, the data doesn't get overwritten and instead an error message is thrown.

Error ID 317

JAS_MSG317: Duplicate key not allowed. Please correct the duplicate key field.

Because the only field getting changed is not part of the key, I can't update using the grid import data.
