local-policy attribute priority vs cost?
I've inherited 3950 SBCs and trying to wrap my head around its call routing.
Under session-router > local-policy > policy attributes, I have the option to move up or down in the priority list. Then under each attribute, I set a cost.
According to docs, cost is the highest priority when deciding which route to take
The Oracle® Enterprise Session Border Controller applies preference to configured local policies in the following order:
- Cost (cost in local policy attributes) is always given preference.
also in docs, I see that "move up / "move down" sets the priority in which the attributes are processed.
"move Change the order in which policy-attributes are processed."
