E1 30/34 Impact of setting up bills of materials where header branch is different from detail branch

Hi everyone

I want to ask, what could be the impact of setting up bills of materials where header branch is different from detail branch? for example; in header we use branch A01, but in the detail we use B01 brach/plant.

Is this set up supported in manufacturing and requeriments planning? are there any known issues we need to consider before implementing?
