ORDS 19 update to ORDS 22, is it DB independent?

Hi,

When I update the current ords 19 to 22, is there any changes need to happen on Oracle DB side..? or this update is totally DB independent…

Anyone can share a detailed procedure of how to update ords 19 to 22..? We used to store configuration data in the subfolder of oracle-home in ords 19, not sure which location is the prefer location of configuration folder in ords 22.
